About Michael David
Michael David was born in 1977 in a small Indiana town, but a small town mind wasn't what he was born with. Just after high school he had left to "find himself", as many artists do. His passion for creating jewelry started with simple hemp and bead jewelry, but gemstones soon became his main focus and the reason his wire jewelry is what it is today.
Michael studied for 6 years under a 3rd generation gem and mineral dealer and is an avid gemstone collector himself. So, as you can imagine, every stone used in a Michael David piece is handpicked. After all, its the stone that makes the piece! Michael also prides himself in making the jewelry "wearable" and most importantly comfortable enough to forget you have it on. He says, "If it can scratch me it can scratch a baby!".
Michael David's work is ever changing, but his dedication to heirloom quality, individually beautiful jewelry is what sets him apart!
